On june 27. this year Paul McCartney held a live consert at Amoeba Mucic, ar record store in Hollywood, USA.
A sparkling Macca played a mix of new and old McCartney-tunes and Beatles classics, backed by Rusty Anderson, Abe Laboriel jr, Brian Ray and Paul "Wix" Wickens.
One concert critic writes:
«The real surprise was how wonderful McCartney and his band sounded. McCartney easily moved from bass to guitar to piano while drummer Abe Laboriel provided a solid, muscular rhythm. Guitarist Rusty Anderson just might have the hardest job in show business: He has to sound like John Lennon on the harmonies and play like George Harrison when he solos,» says the critic inMagazine about the concert.
Celebritys among the audience
Around 500 attended the consert. Among the celebs where Alanis Morisette, Woody Harrelson and Ringo Starr!
