Positions for unilateral broadcasters’ cabled cameras will be arranged in selected areas following discussions with each broadcaster.
Elevated studio/announce platforms (4 x 4m) will be built in the passage between the Cross Country and HS 134 Radio and Ski jump venues on broadcaster’s request. Both venues can be served from these roof-covered platforms. Positions will also be considered behind Mixed Zone for Cross-Country. The platforms will be constructed and decorated to match the Ski-VM 2011 design program.
The Mixed Zone area will have a number of dedicated TV and radio positions followed by non-dedicated radio and ENG camera positions.
There will also be Radio and ENG positions available on a first come, first served basis. The details concerning the layout and location of ENG camera positions will be announced at a later stage.
Commentary positions
Commentary positions will be established in all the three competition venues.
A fully equipped commentary position will include a Glensound commentary unit, CIS, a 19” flat screen TV set and domestic power. The commentary units will be connected to ISDN-lines terminated in the commentary control room (CCR)
A partially equipped commentary position will include the same, except for the commentary unit. Broadcasters’ own commentary units have to be connected to ISDN or LAN lines in the commentary position.

Commentary Control Room (CCR)
Commentary control rooms will be situated adjacent to the commentary positions in each venue. CCR crew will support RHBs’ commentators, and control and connect circuits. The CCRs will be operational from one hour before to one hour after HB transmissions.
Cable TV
Cable TV systems in the competition venues will be available for monitoring all the international signals.
