Lovesick student spams 1 177

The norwegian student met the love of his life in the city of Trondheim last weekend. Unfortunately he did not catch her whole name, but today he found a way to search for her. The response was not quite as expected.

The lovesick student was possibly controlled by «Amor» today.

In his desperate search for his lost weekend love, he mailed 1 177 fellow students with firstnames beginning with «Mari-and-something». He could not remember her name.

- I was drunk as a charter plane

Around three hours after the e-mail dumped into the 1 177 students inboxes named "Mari-and-something", the student got response. But not from the girl he had fallen so deeply in love with.

The lovesick, who signed the e-mail with the signature «Meatloaf» got an answer from a male student. His name was Mari... Marius!

He confirmed in his response that he had been at the same place as the student last weekend. He wrote that he was drunk as a charter plane at the time, and could not remember a thing. Maybe he was the one?

Here is the text in the e-mail sent by «Meatloaf»:

«Sorry for spamming, this was the only way to get in touch with you, the love of my life. We met at Harvey's this weekend, remember your name was Mari-something. If you feel the same, please answer this e-mail!!!!!!!

Love u :)

regards "meatloaf" »

Here is the text in the response from Marius:

«Hi!

I was at Harvey's this weekend. I was drunk as a charter plane. Don't remember a thing, but could I be the one?

Regards, Marius»

- He had guts

Marius, who doesn't want his name published, says he think the lovesearcher sending the e-mail had guts.

- It's a tough thing to do, but I would not have done it, is his immediately answer on his thoughts about the e-mail.

«Meatloaf» - where is Marion Raven?

The e-mail was distributed to 1 177 students at the University of Trondheim, NTNU. The e-mail became a hot topic on a non-public online norwegian social network, named Underskog, today.

The opionions are many, and here are some of them:

- Dissapointed that none of you has brought up Marion Ravens name, says one.

- I think I would not answer this e-mail if my future guy named himself meatloaf, says another one.

It is not known if the lovesick e-mailer in Trondheim found his lost love.
