Making of the Host Broadcaster title sequence

The production of the NRK Host Broadcaster title sequence for the 2016 Biathlon World Championships included hundreds of led lights, drone and snow scooter cameras and an enormous projector. Watch the story about how it was made! (English subtitles available.)

Near the mountain village Beitostølen, in a snow-covered fairytale forest landscape, the Host Broadcaster title sequence was shot in January 2016 in -20° C.

The 11-minute mini documentary shows the entire process from the drawing board to the complete product. Created by NRK's Design and Visuals department especially for these championships, the title sequence opens and closes all Host Broadcaster international transmissions and is also used for wipes and transitions.
