The Soul Express Orchestra takes soul and funk music into new frontiers and brings it back to the roots of reggaemusic. This conscious blend of music styles, based on reggae, leaves most listeners in ecstacy and asking for more. In late 2003, after several years developing the project, the band increased with three new members (trombone, trumpet and percusion) and together they formed a spiritual music that probably never been surface here in the cold north.
Eventhough the big differences in music, they all feel connected with this new combination of genre. The band has with different backgrounds from soul, hiphop, jazz, metal and funky rock established their unique sound. With their eight members on stage they are performing their music for one equal goal... To win the audiences heart and soul!
The Soul Express Orchestra has just finished their debut-EP in the studio, and eager to release it in short time. At this time they are doing all their work themself, but are open for collaborators in all kinds of forms.
