Overthrow is a young, hard-hitting metal band from Stavanger, Norway, drawing inspration from every corner of heavy music. Aging from 19-21, the band has since the start in 2008 warmed up for bands like Cancer Bats, Purified in Blood, Valient Thorr, etc. alongside touring with Kvelertak.
In 2011, the band played By:Larm and the RxR festival. In november 2011 Overthrow will embark on a tour of norway with Clutch. Overthrow's debut-album is in the works to be recorded in 2012.
