Hailing from the apartment above his mother's garage in Vestskogen (Nøtterøy commune, Norway), Hello Mellow is the 23 year old Mathias Fekjær. After starting making dance music at the age of 14 on Magic Music Maker, Mathias started DJing and played at some local parties and LANs. After some thiefs broke in to the apartment and stole his record players and mixing equipent, Mathias didn't bother making much music for a while, except some occasional collaborations with friends, under the name "Live @ Bula" ("Bula" being Norwegian slang for a place with a lot of smoke in the walls). He then went on a backpacker trip to south-east asia in 2006, before coming home and starting at Idéfagskolen (a shool for musical production), and has now realesed some mixes and selfmade tracks through MSN Live Messenger to some very special friends :)
